Dionne Dotson went to Dell L. Bernstein, M.D., for an abortion, but later gave birth to a healthy baby. She’s suing the abortion provider, alleging negligent medical treatment “causing injuries resulting from the pregnancy, delivery, and financial burden of raising an unplanned child.” Initially the court said Dotson had no case, but now the Colorado Court of Appeals has ruled she can go ahead with the lawsuit.
